About Glen
I didn't end up in Colorado Springs by accident. I chose it.
In 2019, my wife Diana and I moved here because we believed this was the kind of place where you could build a real life — raise a family, put down roots, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Seven years later, I'm more sure of that than ever.
I'm an aerospace engineer with 11 patents. I've spent my career solving complex problems — from aircraft ejection seats to aviation systems — across some of the most demanding engineering environments in the world. I'm a husband to Diana, a dentist who cares for kids across our community every day. I'm a dad to Natalie and Thomas. And I'm someone who finishes hundred-mile mountain bike races — because I've learned that the hardest things are always worth finishing.
Public service runs three generations deep in my family. My grandfather Glen served on the city planning commission in our hometown. My father followed him. My sister Jenna went on to become Mayor of Marquette. I didn't come to public service — I was raised in it.
That's what brought me to city council meetings, town halls, and neighborhood events across Colorado Springs over the last several years. Not because I had to. Because I wanted to understand this city — its challenges, its potential, and the people who make it great.
What I found is a city with enormous promise and real problems that aren't being solved. A large budget shortfall. Development decisions that override neighborhood input. Houselessness that demands both compassion and accountability. An environment under pressure.
I'm running for Mayor because Colorado Springs deserves leadership that treats these as engineering problems — defined precisely, solved systematically, and measured honestly. Not talking points. Solutions.
I'm a Democrat who will work with anyone across the aisle to get things done. No party bosses. No special interests. Just Colorado Springs.
This is my home. These are my neighbors. That's why I'm running.
